2 Months Old

Wow it is so hard to belive that Benjamin is already 2 months old. He is a wonderful baby- we could not be more blessed. He is so happy and smiles a lot. We are waiting for his first laugh! He is doing well with his schedule. We go next week for his 2 month checkup so I will post his stats then. For the most part he just hangs out during the day. He loves to swing and play on his baby einstein mat. Of course one of his favorite things to do is watch his big brother- sometimes he can't take his eyes off of him. He really likes to cuddle and will sleep while you are holding him any chance he gets. (we try to get lots of snuggles now because we know it wont be long he will be running around and those little snuggles will be few and far between.) He still has most of his hair and his eyes seem like they are going to be brown right from the start. He is just a blessing- a lot of people ask don't you wish you had a girl. NO WAY! We love our boys and wouldn't have it anyother way. It is amazing to think that we were told we might not be able to have children but God has blessed us with 2 healthy wonderful boys who we can tell are already going to be the best of friends!

Here are some random pictures from the month- I will try to do better about updating going forward!

So So sweet I love pictures of the two of them together- recently Christian started going up to Benjamin and say hold you hold you please!!

Taking a bath I think that he is going to like the water just like Christian at least we hope!

HONEY!! Please and I'm gonna get you!

Well Christian is learning by leaps and bounds. It seems like he is learning so much everyday.

HONEY~ This one is so cute the first time he said it was when we were on our way back from Charleston a couple of weeks ago. There was really bad traffic on 95 and all the cars slammed on brakes well Ed was driving and slammed on breaks and I said HONEY!! Well when we stopped and everyone around us stopped from the back seat we heard this little voice go HONEY!! and then he said uh oh! It was so cute- now he will go around the house and sometimes you hear him say Honey! :)

Please- We have been working on getting Christian to say please and thank your without prompting him he is learning but some times we have to remind him by saying how do you ask or what do you say. Well the other day we were getting ready to go out and since we have new carpet we don't allow shoes on the carpet so we were sitting down putting Christian's shoes on and I said now it is Mommy's turn. Well Christian walked over like he was going to get my shoes and I said are you going to bring Mommy her shoes to which he tured around and looked at me so seriously and said PLEASE. Sometimes it is not what we teach them but what they teach us!

I'm gonna get you~ Yep I guess this counts as his first sentence. He has been saying things like Brown Bear Brown Bear or Shh Baby sleeping but now he says I'm gonna get you! He is so funny we will be playing with the toys or just acting funny and sometimes we tell Christian I'm gonna get you. Now he has started telling us I gonna get you! It is awesome to hear him talking and learning so much everyday.

A Full Night equals 8 hours

A short but really sweet post~

Benajmin has been a great sleeper so far allowing us to have anywhere from 4-6hours of sleep at a time. Last night was actually the longest he has gone this far. The little guy slept like a champ. We put him to bed right around 10pm and he slept all the way until 6:00am!! Whooo a whole 8 hours we are so excited and hope that our little man decides to keep it up.

First PB&J and the Park

I have been nervous about giving Christian PB&J worried that he would have an allergy. Well my friend Katie had not given her little boy a PB&J yet either so we decided it would be fun to try it together. So we met at the park today and gave each one of the boys a PB&J to try. They both seemed to like it and so far so good no reaction. (I was so worried I took Benadryl with us just incase). :) Emily and Mecaden came to and got to play it was lots of fun!
Emory and Christian trying PB&J together for the 1st time

BIG Bite- Christian really like it I guess there will be plenty of PB&J lunches to come :)

Swinging that is one of his favorite things to do at the park

He could hardly stay awake until we got home he was so tired.

The Farmers Market

We love to go to the Farmers Market and get fresh veggies and fruit. We have not had the opportunity to go yet this spring until Saturday. It was great- lots of fresh strawberry's to taste. Christian had tried strawberry's last year when we went Strawberry picking but I couldn't get him to try them this year until the farmers market. He loved them. I can't wait until we can actually go and pick some. Hopefully in the next few weeks!
