Rubba Dubb Dubb.....Fun In the Bathtub

Both of our boys LOVE the water and bathtime. Here are a few pictures from bathtime this week.

4 Month Check-up

We took Benjamin today for his 4 month check-up! Hard to believe. He weighted in at 15lbs even(50%) (which was my guess :) and he is 26inches long(80%)! What a big boy he is becoming. We got to see Dr. Dirk we were so excited about that. It was his first day back after being gone for over a month. He said that Benjamin is perfect and can tell that he and Christian are both very healthy boys! We were so excited with the good report and Benjamin was a happy little boy until it was time for him to get his shots.....but he was tuff as Christian says and only cried for a minute or two! Just for those who are curious I looked back to see what Christian's height and weight was at 4 months and he was 13lbs 8oz and 25inches long. So there is not a huge difference. Here are a few pictures of our tater tot as I call him. :)

Happy 4th of July!

We had a wonderful weekend. Grandma & Grandpa came to visit. Thursday night we just hung out at home. On Friday we decided to skip the parade this year and take Grandma & Grandpa to pullen park- we had soooo much fun it was great! Saturday morning we went to Daylight Donuts and the spent the day shoping at the mall buying lots of new clothes! Saturday night we just relaxed at home. Sunday Grandma & Grandpa went home but we hope to spend more time with them soon!!

Friday night we went to Franklinton to watch Daddy play music and see the fireworks it was a lot of fun!

He was so excited he climbed up all the steps in the bounce house all by himself! Here I come he would say as he got ready to come down the slide! A Big Boy Bed!

July 1st

Well we have been trying to decide what to do about moving Christian from his crib to a big boy bed. On Tuesday night we made the move! He is now sleeping in a toddler bed. When Aunt Rhonda came to pick up Kayla & Aidan she brought us Aidan's old bed. Thanks Aunt Rhonda!! I am suprised that he is doing so well. He is staying in the bed and LOVES having his own big boy bed. He says I sleep in my big bed I sleep in my big bed!! It is so cute. Just another sign that he is growing up!! It all seems to be happening so fast! We did put a gard on the side of the bed because he sleeps all over the place. I guess now that means Benjamin needs to start sleeping in the crib huh?? Yes, he is still in the bassinet on my side of the bed....Christian was there until he was 4 months old as well...They just grow up way to fast!

He was so excited about sleeping in his big bed the sheets have balls on them! They were from Aunt Rhonda as well. What's funny is so were the PJ's he is wearing! They were Aidan's to.Mommy tucking Christian inHe was saying nite nite....

It took him a little while but he finally fell asleep...look at how he is sleeping I guess it is a good thing we got the bed rail!

Summer Time Fun~A Birthday Party, & A day at the Pool

Saturday was Mecaden's 1st Birthday Party! It was so much fun and she was such a cute little lady bug. The party was wonderful.

After we were done at the pool we went to Mrs. Emily's house and picked up the exersaucer. Here is Benjamin trying it out for the first time. He really likes it. He is growing up so fast!
