Bright White & Healthy!

This morning I took the boys to the dentist for their check-up. This was Christian's 3rd trip and Benjamin's 1st. They both did AMAZING!! I could not have asked for them to do better.
Benjamin doesn't he look excited to be getting his teeth cleaned. I think he is really more concerned about the picture that is being taken.
He was a champ! Brush Brush Brush..Benjamin totally suprised me with how laid back he was about the dentist cleaning and looking at his teeth. I was thinking about the how clingy he has been to me lately and how he doesn't like anyone new right now and wondered how he would do but he suprised me and did WONDERFUL (much better than Christian's first visit!=) Christian- He was beyond amazing today. I kept remembering our 2 previous trips to the dentist and wondering if today was going to be a repeat and thankfully it was not. He did such a GREAT job he went right with the tech Jannet and climbed up in the big chair laid down and let her get to work on his teeth. The pictures are so cute one of the techs took them for me b/c I was in with Benjamin.
Loving the sunglasses to keep the bright light out of his face
Christian using the mirror to look at his teeth.

Getting X-rays He even let them take X-rays of his teeth. The turned out great and all of his permanet teeth are there. The only thing we need to pray about is the bottom front 2 teeth are turned and we would like them to move into the right position before they come in but we have a couple of years before that happens. We love Dr. Johnson at Carolina Pedatric Dentistry! I am so thankful that they both had bright white healthy teeth. In the mean time Dr. Johnson said we may want to start saving up for Braces b/c it looks like both boys are going to need them!! We go back in 6 months hoping that visit will go as well as today's did!

Summer Time Summer Time!!!

We are so glad that summer is here and we can enjoy time outside. Last night we went to Rolesville Park for a bit. Here are a few pics of the kiddo's.

Wherever we go one or both of the boys find sticks it was the first thing Benjamin did last night

Christian swinging he still likes to swing in the little swings I think it is b/c he wants to swing w/ Benjamin and seems to have a little fear of heights. Whatever it is I don't mind it makes it a little easier with 2 of them.

Benjamin....can someone tell me when he got so BIG! Gosh really and look at those big ol' legs =)I think he is saying WEE this is fun or either he is trying out to be superman I'm not sure which but I love this picture! Ready Set GO!!! It is so hard to see Benjamin's face in this picture but he is grining from ear to ear and having a blast playing with his big brother. We look forward to many many more trips to the park this summer!

Now that is a face....

I could just eat up!

Sweet Friends

The last stop we made while we were back home was at O'Charley's not just for food but for fun. I have a dear friend who moved overseas to India right after we graduated highschool. She originally was going over just for the summer to be a Nanny well she ended up staying. She met her husband Anil and has 2 boys Silas and Issac. They live in India and are ministering to families and children in need. The last time that we saw Rachel was when Silas was around a year old (almost 4 years ago). So it was great to see her the boys and her parents again. It was our first time to meet Issac and the first time that they were able to meet our boys.
(Left-Right) Benjamin 1, Silas 5, Christian 2.5, & Issac 2. Such a sweet picture!!

Rachel and her boys and Me and my boys. I didn't think to get a picture with Preston and Linda but we will do that the next time. It was great to see you guys!!

All of the kiddo's.....We look forward to going back again next year!! The berries were SUPER sweet and VERY VERY YUMMY!!

Family Fun~

Here are some pics from the weekend back in Richmond. Our niece Kayla turned 8 so we went to help celebrate her birthday!
Benjanin thinking he wants to drive the car

The car running over Benjamin to see the whole thing in action was pretty funny....he was standing in front of the car and it gradually started rolling over him but he fell gracefully and thankfully didn't bust his head on the driveway.

Christian's turnBenjamin & Kayla drawing with sidewalk chalkBenjamin had fun it is written all over his hineyThis was a special treat the Ice Cream truck came through and everyone got ice cream! The kids trying to decide what they wantKayla got a snow coneI got a snow cone as well here is Benjamin taking a biteChristian and Aidan picked out Dora ice cream (they didn't have Diego). They were huge and needless to say...they were both a MESS!! but Mommy it was soooo good! =)Saturday morning was Kayla's party here is a picture of all the kids. Yes if you look hard enough you will find Christian in there somewhere....Pushing the dump truck through the yard he looks SO SERIOUS CHEESE....Benjamin was with Uncle Jeff so he missed out on being in this picturebut he didn't miss out on the mini popsicles. Have you seen these things?? If you have kids they are GREAT they are tiny and not nearly as messy as the huge ones. I am sure these will be a big hit at our house this summer! oooo sour.....or maybe cold? Too Cute! The kids had fun as always and love being together.
