First PB&J and the Park

I have been nervous about giving Christian PB&J worried that he would have an allergy. Well my friend Katie had not given her little boy a PB&J yet either so we decided it would be fun to try it together. So we met at the park today and gave each one of the boys a PB&J to try. They both seemed to like it and so far so good no reaction. (I was so worried I took Benadryl with us just incase). :) Emily and Mecaden came to and got to play it was lots of fun!
Emory and Christian trying PB&J together for the 1st time

BIG Bite- Christian really like it I guess there will be plenty of PB&J lunches to come :)

Swinging that is one of his favorite things to do at the park

They found a catapillar.....

Christian pointed at it and then.....

He had to pick it up! EWWW I HATE bugs but I guess I am going to have to start liking them with 2 boys aroundHe fell and scraped his knee up it wasn't that bad and I am sure it is only the first of many.....

He could hardly stay awake until we got home he was so tired.

The Farmers Market

We love to go to the Farmers Market and get fresh veggies and fruit. We have not had the opportunity to go yet this spring until Saturday. It was great- lots of fresh strawberry's to taste. Christian had tried strawberry's last year when we went Strawberry picking but I couldn't get him to try them this year until the farmers market. He loved them. I can't wait until we can actually go and pick some. Hopefully in the next few weeks!

Just call me Mr. Smiles!

Benjamin has been smiling for a couple of weeks. We have not been able to catch any pictures. Tonight he was in his swing and I was talking to him and he just smiled and smiled-can't wait to hear a big belly laugh! We are so blessed to have a happy healthy little boy. Here are a few pictures we were able to get.

Gotta love those smiles!

Honeycutt Park

Today we went with some friends to chick-fil-a (our favorite place to eat lunch) and then we went to try out Honeycutt Park. One of my friends told me about the park its new and nice! The only thing is there is no shade. It was VERY hot about 90 degrees. Christian enjoyed himself and I got a couple of pictures before we decided it was time to come home. Poor little guy he decided to come down the slide on his belly and when he was getting up at the bottom his shirt came up a little and he burnt his belly on the hot slide :( He was fine- next time we will try to go a little earlier in the day.

Testing out the swing- he says weeee as he swings

Pushing Mason's wagon- he was so HOT

Chasing the bubbles with Kalei

Getting ready to go down the slide he loves to go on his belly and likes to do it by himself!

All they way down!! This was right before he burnt his belly :(

Ice Cream!

Thats right the first Bruster's Ice Cream cone of the year and it was GOOD! The weather was beautiful today and after running a few errands this evening we decided to stop at Brusters for some ice cream. Christian has only been offered ice cream a couple of times before and has not really cared for it. Well tonight he LOVED it! I told Ed to get me a cone with 1 scoop (yes it really is a cone with 1 scoop) and I would share with Christian well the little guy really enjoyed it this time as you can tell from the pictures. I am sure we will make at least one more stop there again before the end of summer.... :)

Getting ready to take that first taste

He is learning how to lick the ice cream

MMMM GOOD!!

FUn iN ThE SUn~ ChArlEsTOn sC

This past weekend we took our first family trip as 4! My best friend Shannon lives in Charleston and it was Luke's 1st Birthday and we couldn't miss it. Caleb is her older son he will be 3 in June and Luke just turned 1, Luke is 6 months younger than Christian to the day. Thursday night when Ed got home we started our journey, we made it 1/2 way stopping in Florence for the night.

Friday morning we got up and headed right into downtown Charleston for a family trip to the aquarium. It was so much fun! Christian really enjoyed himself and Benjamin did as well :) Christian was funny he would run up and look at some of the fish and then others seemed to scare him and he would put hold onto us so tight. Although as you can tell from the pictures he didn't seem to mind the snake. One of his favorite things was to play on the ship that they had in the middle of the aquarium. We will make plans to go back again it was a lot of fun!

Saturday was the big birthday party! Luke had a duck party and it was a lot of fun. The kids really enjoyed being able to play outside and run around. The rest of the time we just spent hanging out well chasing three of the 4 boys (since Benjamin isn't walking yet :) It was great to see them and we look forward to going back in June!

Lots of pictures- ENJOY!
