The Camping Trip

Ed and Christian went camping Friday night and came back Saturday morning. A lot of people said he was brave for taking him on the camping trip but it sounds like they had a lot of fun. Christian loved playing in all mud and water that he could find but I am happy to report there we no incidents at the actual Lake. He got to enjoy his first camp fire and he slept all night in the tent like such a big boy. Daddy said he called for Mommy a couple times before going to sleep :). I think this was the first of many more camping trips to come..

Going Camping!

This weekend is the father/son camping trip with our church at Kerr Lake. Ed is going out on a limb and taking Christian. They are only going for one night to see how it goes. Last night as Ed was getting everything ready he put up the tent for Christian to see. Here are a few pictures. I am sure there will be more after they come home! Hopefully they will get some sleep and have lots of fun.

A Ladies Man

Here is a picture a friend of mine took about 2 weeks ago of Christian and her little girl Olivia at the park. I think we should get prepared it looks like we have a ladies man on our hands :)

Sip Sip

Last night we decided to go ahead and let Benjamin try using a sippy cup. I mean he is 7 months so he should be off the bottle in the next month or two right?? Just kidding. He didn't have any problems knowing how to use it all- he gets lots of practice watching Christian and trying to steal a sip or two out of Christian's cup when no one is looking. Here are a few pictures of his efforts.

7 Months

Benjamin is now 7 months. I took him to the Dr. this morning to have them check on what I thought was just a cold, come to find out my poor baby has a double ear infection! Ughh ask me how I felt..horrible. We have been wondering why all of a sudden he stopped sleeping through the night well now we know. We saw Dr. Wagner and she said that on a scale from 1-10 he had a 7 and a 5. Poor thing we will be giving out lots of TLC at our house!

Aside from being sick he is always such a happy baby. He is moving all the time from one place to the next already starting to get himself in a little trouble. :) He is babbling all the time I wonder if he is going to be a little talker like Christian. He is eatting stage 2 foods and doing really well. We are thinking about starting stage 3. I have also started using the mesh feeder with him. He has only had Banana but really enjoyed it. I have also starting putting a piece or 2 of ice in it for him to suck on, it really seems to help with his teething., speaking of which he now has 6 teeth with 2 more coming in. He has 4 on the bottom and two on the top the first one on top started coming in on Friday and then on Sunday you could see the 2nd one breaking through. I guess he is in a rush to try those Chicken Nuggetts from chick-fil-a Christian is always talking about.

I want to rock....
