Sweet Friends

The last stop we made while we were back home was at O'Charley's not just for food but for fun. I have a dear friend who moved overseas to India right after we graduated highschool. She originally was going over just for the summer to be a Nanny well she ended up staying. She met her husband Anil and has 2 boys Silas and Issac. They live in India and are ministering to families and children in need. The last time that we saw Rachel was when Silas was around a year old (almost 4 years ago). So it was great to see her the boys and her parents again. It was our first time to meet Issac and the first time that they were able to meet our boys.
(Left-Right) Benjamin 1, Silas 5, Christian 2.5, & Issac 2. Such a sweet picture!!

Rachel and her boys and Me and my boys. I didn't think to get a picture with Preston and Linda but we will do that the next time. It was great to see you guys!!

Here are some pics from the weekend back in Richmond. Our niece Kayla turned 8 so we went to help celebrate her birthday!
Benjanin thinking he wants to drive the car

The car running over Benjamin to see the whole thing in action was pretty funny....he was standing in front of the car and it gradually started rolling over him but he fell gracefully and thankfully didn't bust his head on the driveway.

Christian's turnBenjamin & Kayla drawing with sidewalk chalkBenjamin had fun it is written all over his hineyThis was a special treat the Ice Cream truck came through and everyone got ice cream! The kids trying to decide what they wantKayla got a snow coneI got a snow cone as well here is Benjamin taking a biteChristian and Aidan picked out Dora ice cream (they didn't have Diego). They were huge and needless to say...they were both a MESS!! but Mommy it was soooo good! =)Saturday morning was Kayla's party here is a picture of all the kids. Yes if you look hard enough you will find Christian in there somewhere....Pushing the dump truck through the yard he looks SO SERIOUS CHEESE....Benjamin was with Uncle Jeff so he missed out on being in this picturebut he didn't miss out on the mini popsicles. Have you seen these things?? If you have kids they are GREAT they are tiny and not nearly as messy as the huge ones. Wordless Wednesday

This picture really doesn't need words.....it is just SO PRECIOUS! I am glad that Ed was able to catch it on camera.

I LOVE my Grandma....

Our Little Artist

Christian has his preschool art show this past week. We decided we would take him out for dinner and a little time with just Mommy and Daddy. When we left the house we asked him where he wanted to go for dinner it didn't take him long to respond...PIZZA!! So CiCi's it was. When we were done we went to his art show. It was amazing to see some of the things he made this year. He is VERY artistic and we are sooo proud of all of his work. Here are some pictures from our evening.

PIZZA- Pepperoni Pizza of course =)

Bread Thief

I was making grilled cheese for lunch one day this past week. I guess Benjamin thought he was to hungry to wait because I turned around and this is what I saw.....

He had taken a piece of bread off of the counter

and he ate the whole thing....but he smiled for a picture as he took a big bite.
