First Trip to the Lake~Sandling Beach

Tuesday~6/24

So this moring while Ed was working we went down the street and played with some of the neighbors children. It was fun the kids loved playing together and had a blast. After that we came home to chinesse checkers for Kayla Leapster for Aidan and playtime for Benjamin and Christian. Everyone had hotdogs and mac-n-cheese for lunch. Then it was nap/rest time for everyone including me! I think Kayla may have stayed awake and watched the whole movie Racing Stripes but I know I slept for a few minutes.
Brushing their teeth they all had to be in the bathroom and brush at the same time each morning

Kayla playing her leapster & Christian trying to sneak in a turnAidan playing with the bus take notice he is wearing a muscle shirt! :)Christian wearing Mommy's sandles- maybe that is why my beads are falling off??
Benjamin just hanging out in his swing!
Christian likes to honk honk on Benjamin's nose but Benjamin doesn't like it so much! :(Kayla reading to Christian before naptime

Later in the afternoon Kayla and I got everything together for our 1st trip to Sandling Beach this summer. It was so much fun. We got to the beach and everyone had a PB&J and then got ready and headed for the water. Chrisitan had gotten a Diego lifejacket he loved, Kayla had a fish float, Aidan had a beach ball but then decided he just wanted to swim with his lifevest. Benjamin was so cute. He was so happy in the water he loved it! Just smiled and smiled I think he would have stayed there all night if we would have let him. Kayla met another little girl and they built a sandcastle. Everyone one had a blast- then it was time to get out and head home for baths and bed. Another fun day planned tommorow....The puppet theater and the Mellow Mushroom!! As always pictures....

that last picture of ed with all the kids- you shouldn't have taken the time to take a picture- you should have high-tailed it to the car and said "so long, honey- your turn to take care of them all!"

:-) but then again you wanted them to survive through a night... what would husbands do without their wives?
